Making people happy… one trout at a time!

Thanks for checking out my website! I was born and raised in Alaska and have been addicted to fly fishing ever since I was eight years old. In addition to Alaska, I’ve lived in Colorado and Wisconsin and for the past couple of years in Northern California! I love guiding people, especially those brand new to the sport of fly fishing! 

As a bonded, licensed, and insured fly fishing guide, I have the honor of spending most of my days helping people become better anglers in addition to catching fish. Whether I’m rowing people around the Lower Sacramento River or walking along the Upper Sac, I love serving my clients and doing everything I can to help them successfully learn and fish the great waters of Northern California. 

Guiding is a lot of fun and a great way to learn where to fish, how to fish, and what gear and flies to use. In addition to helping those new to the sport, I also love helping people who are interested in learning the waters so that they can be successful on their own! 

While I’ve fished all over the United States, my “happy place” remains to be Alaska. There’s nothing quite like 30 inch leopard ‘bows to make your heart pound! But when I’m not in Alaska, I’m usually on the Lower Sacramento River chasing after these absolutely stellar trout-pigs! 

Dry fly, nymph, spey, or streamer… I like it all!
